On Saturday, 12th April 2025, the Mesiniaga AI team conducted an engaging AI Engineering Workshop for students of Tunku Abdul Rahman University of Management and Technology (TAR UMT).

 

The session was attended by 16 students, offering them valuable exposure to practical applications of Artificial Intelligence and insights into the evolving field of AI engineering. Key topics covered during the workshop included learning Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) techniques, chatbot development, prompt engineering, and hands-on programming exercises, equipping students with cutting-edge skills relevant to modern AI solutions.

 

In addition to technical knowledge, students also gained first-hand understanding of the benefits of real-world experience, through industry-led demonstrations and collaborative discussions. The workshop aimed to inspire the next generation of tech talent and strengthen industry-academia collaboration.
