JOB PROFILE

Position: Graphic Designer Intern
Work Location: Subang Jaya

Roles and Responsibilities

Assist in creating visually engaging graphics for digital platforms, including social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.
Design visuals for branding, product promotions, and other creative projects.
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualise and execute design ideas.
Ensure all designs align with brand guidelines and meet project objectives.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or a related field.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator.
Strong creativity and keen attention to detail.
A solid understanding of aesthetics, color theory, typography, and layout design.
A portfolio showcasing your design skills (e.g., class projects or personal work).

I was tasked with fixing the errors of a time attendance report system. Mr Khoon Pin Chin, my supervisor, took care of us interns and gave us good guidance that helped us learn on the job. There was clarity on the expectation and the results that were required which made the experience of learning about real production grade software development really meaningful.
